Adding over 1.8 million TEU’s to the existing port’s capacity, It is the only facility at the Red Sea port with a dedicated navigation channel (300m wide) and deep water draught up to 18m, allowing for next generation supersize 13,000+ container vessels.
Other terminal facilities include the latest terminal operating software systems, Navis Sparcs N4, as well as a “smart” gate automation Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology as well as other IT systems.
